NFP (Non-Farm Payroll)

NFP is one of the most impactful economic indicators for the U.S economy. It tracks the changes in the number of employed people, excluding farm workers, government, non-profit organisation and private household employees. The previous month’s data is released on the first Friday of every month and numbers may vary from +/- 10,000 – 250,000. Considering that NFP is one of the most important employment indicators for the United States, a better value than expected will encourage a bullish USD activity.
