Signal Line

Used in technical analysis, signal lines normally consist of moving averages used in combination with other technical indicators in order to generate buy or sell signals. Buy signals are usually triggered when a signal line is crossed upwards by the indicator in question and sell signals are triggered when it is crossed downwards.
